I had my fireplace converted from gas to electric. Jordan and Daniel, the installers, were excellent! They worked so well together! They explained everything they were doing, even the noises I would be hearing. They were polite and very courteous. They cared for my flooring and hearth like it was their own! They cleaned up when they were finished and left nothing for me to do but enjoy the beautiful fireplace. They were pleasant at the end of a long day and took the time to explain how to work the fireplace to me TWICE. I am very PLEASED with going with Southern Maryland Heath and would recommend this company to everyone.

Our new propane stove is awesome. What an improvement over the old pellet stove. And I definitely want to tell you how impressed we were with the professional and courteous installers - Anthony, Daniel and Ronan. Our living room looks bigger with the hearth fully exposed. The stove itself is elegant and, my, the ease of use! No more lugging 40 pounds of pellets and cleaning up nasty ash. Totally satisfied customers here.

We've been shopping for a wood burning fireplace to replace a decorative builder-grade unit and have spoken with installers across four counties. The product lines have ranged from near-junk to luxury custom installs and the sales people from misinformed to veteran specialist. We were sold on a Valcourt from a reputable dealer until we met Austin at SOMD Hearth. My gas fireplace install was completed today. It’s absolutely beautiful. I am thrilled! Austin from SOMDHEARTH started the process by showing us our options in his Leornardtown show room. He took the time to discuss with us exactly what we were looking for and answered all of our questions. I had no doubt that I would be happy with the purchase of our new gas fireplace. Anthony from SOMDHEARTH did the actual tear down and installation, both inside and outside for our new fireplace unit. Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and extremely skilled. I found him to be personable and witnessed first hand his excellent work ethic. Mathew supervised the granite install and replacement of our wood mantle surround. I was very impressed with Mathew.
